About Canyon Automotive Repair & Service
Denny Mandeville opened Canyon Automotive Repair & Service in August of 1987, where he now serves as owner and lead technician. With credentials spanning a career of over 40 years in the automotive repair industry, Denny has received numerous awards and certifications, including Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in 1976 and NAPA/ASE Automotive Technician of the Year: 1995-1999 in Arizona, and 1999-2000 on a national level. He has been an active member of the community, serving on many committees and boards relating to the automotive industry from 1990-2010, and participating in school-to-work programs and school career fairs.
A graduate of South Lewis High School, Denny's career in automotive started in New York State in 1966 after a vocational education in automotive. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1970 as a Senior Engineer Equipment Repairman, and in the National Guard from 1981-1987. Denny also served as a volunteer firefighter in Sedona, AZ from 1978-1987, receiving the highest rank of Battalion Chief, and on the Sedona Fire Board from 1994-1998. His college degrees include Marketing, Fire Science, Automotive Management, and Automotive Technology.
